And a flag from the country where i live. South Africa, that is better know by the Rainbow Nation.

So that is all for the color week.
I had a lot of fun.
Realise that there is a lot of colors missing in my life.
Maybe i should take advantage of this post to try to get more different colors in my house.

Violet

Saturday = Violet



A violet cut paper in a form of a flower.



The girls just love to drink water from this violet cup.



A mini violet toy (actually i have no idea the name of this thing!!!!)



The not finish barbie house... still working on it.... but the violet couches are already there!!!



And talking about barbies, a swimming costume in violet.

I had some problems in finding violet to take a photo, as you can see it is almost toys.
Maybe it is a thing to think about...

Blue

Friday = Blue

I have to say this is my favorite color :)
Now for the photos...

Green

Thursday = Green

My little green spot with my favorite plants. This is actually the only place in the house that they get along fine, that is the reason why they are all together.

Outside, last month in put this green plant that gives beautiful flowers. She is just a baby, but I'm proud of her.

Some green towels for the pool.

Green Lego for the girls to play.

A giant green number for the morning.

A typical green African canvas.

The choice of my girls a green grater, they do love cheese in the pasta.

And my green lemon, din't turn yellow yet!

Yellow

Wednesday = Yellow

This is my best friend when I'm on the PC writing posts and replying to emails. It is yellow and it is my best friend!

This yellow potty is the SOS of this house when it comes to the bathroom. We should start on a schedule...

This yellow hanging bag is to put the pyjamas from the girls.

And remember the post from yesterday? This is the yellow flower is a pair, from the yesterday orange flower.

And to finish the yellow day, some yellow bananas. (it is almost in all post from the girls that join the color week - this must be the day with the most bananas in posts!!!)

Orange

Tuesday = Orange

The aquarium ball in our office, with orange plants and orange fish.

Nicole, thinks that the sun must be orange??

And the girls hair?? Orange...Don't ask...

This was the first present from sister in law, who is in Portugal, for the baby Nicole.
It was her first attempt in doing a Orange knitting blanket.

This orange flower belongs to a pair of hanging mobile in the girls room.

And now for the almost final debut! These tekkies, given to me by my dear husband, are absolutely orange. I didn't like them a lot at the beginning, but then i started to get clothes in the same color, problem solved!

And the final one. Yes i know these are orange boots, also from Dear Husband, maybe he was having some kind of orange crisis by the time that he gave me these two pair of foot wear!
They are supper comfy, and very warm for the winter weather (not that there is any very cold weather here in Cape Town, must move to the north to use them more :) )

Red

Monday = RED

In my house the blankets used to watch TV and to keep us warm in the cold nights are red!




Lately our laundry became more red also. These are the "uniform" shirts from Paulo and me.
Which is funny, after my mother passed away, i couldn't wear anything red, i don't know, maybe it is a Portuguese thing, i just didn't feel well with my self. And after i ad Nicole, everything change.
I started to wear the color red again, funny!

So this is my red entry for today!

Color Week

I just join a fun week full of color, since lately around here everything is always grey (smoke)

So the Color Week consists of showing some different colors in your blog.

Sunday- rainbow of color
Monday - red
Tuesday - orange
Wednesday - yellow
Thursday - green
Friday - blue
Saturday - violet
Sunday - finish it all off with another rainbow of color.
