Cardigan and socks

First of all, I would like to say THANK YOU to all the girls that left me a comment, or sent a email to me about my father’s health. Thank you. He is progressing fro best, these things go slowly, but they are going to good port, TG.

There was some knitting on this front, as well as crochet.

Today I’m going to show some socks that I made for N.

Just a simple 2X2 rib in the cuf, and plain knitting until the end. Not very amusing!
But she was happy, that she now as socks with the same color as mommy!
By the way, these were the socks for the month of April for SAM5.

Now this is a big thing to me. I’m doing for the first time, or better, I’m trying to do for the first time a cardigan. This one will have seams everywhere!
The pattern you can find it here.

And here is a photo of how it looks like.

And here is a photo of what I made so far.

All the lines that you see, is for me to keep track of the stripes in the pattern.
So for now it is all.

Crochet news in the next post.

  1. I don't understand: where are your stripes: if there aren't any: then why keep track of them?
But very good that you try something new!

  5. So far, so good!!! I understand marking the stripes, since the shaping and measuring is all based on the stripe pattern. I can't wait to see it finished!
