The World Blog Tour makes its way to South Africa

Taking part of this world tour is fun.
I offered myself to participate, and Ruth tag me, Thank you :)

So here are the questions:

1.What am I working on?
I'm making mobiles, pin flowers, owls, hello kitty, hearts, bookmarks..... yes a lot is going on at the time! Finishing a order and preparing for a Xmas market at my girls school (that is why so many things at the same time)

All this hopefully will be this....

.... and this....

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?

It doesn't differ a lot; I guess it is just the love for what you do. I love what I can create with felt, and decorate little things, it gives me great joy. The only comment that I get here at home from my girls is "oh, cute" so I'm happy with that (and no they are not getting paid for saying that ;) )

3. Why do I write/create what I do?

Why oh why..... It started as a way of my family in Portugal to be able to see us here in South Africa, now it is more of showing the family still but also my work, and what I'm doing....
Not posting as much as I would like.... Facebook is the guilty party here.... it looks much easier to post there, and fast.
On the creative side, I just get inspired by all the gorgeous work out there made in felt, it is amazing what people can create with this so gorgeous type of fabric!

4. How does my writing/creating process work?

My creating process takes a long time (although it does look like) lots of searching, drawing, and thinking how the piece is going to turn out, There is a lot of cute stuff that doesn't make the outside eye.... lots of trying until the piece is on perfection. Still today I try to perfect my already patterns... always looking for cuteness also.

At this point I am supposed to nominate the blogger, not doing that, but I would ask my followers if you care to join the tour you are more than welcome.... just drop a comment, and I will announce it here :)
